Nico AKA Nico Da Funksta & Dean Detached teamed up in November 2020 bringing you Nico & Dean!

In 2020 Nico (House is a feeling ) Teamed up with old time friend and fellow promoter (Detached Parties) Dean Detached forming Nico & Dean where they joined the launch of Unity dab the first legal station for them to be aired on running the drive time show 4-6pm on a Tuesday and Thursday.

Now Nico & Dean have joined the Shine 879 Dab team where they currently broadcast on a Friday evening from 6-8 pm.

Receiving bookings already from promoters such as  51st State, Slip back in time, House is a feeling, Housework, Rave House ,Return to Love ,Risen Fest ,Rave days & Houseful sessions  to name a few ……

Playing all different genres of underground and classic house & garage seamlessly mixing the old with the new is there signature mainly deep tech chunky bassline bangers , classic uplifting vocals , old skool rave reworks and new breakbeat always trying to give people a London cutting edge vibe .

Nico has been a DJ for over 30 years now he first started DJing at 13 at underground house parties and then got his break on the infamous weekend rush pirate station playing some of the first uk garage sets ever aired over the pirate radio east London high rise air waves  and from when he got his first residency at Bagleys in 1994 for double dipped he did not look back the buzz of DJing stayed with him for life.

Nico became a UK garage DJ in 1995 playing prime time slots for some of the biggest pirate stations around and playing for most of the biggest garage promoters in London and the UK being a resident at clubs including Café de Paris, Klub storm and the Koo Klub among others also playing regularly for promoters such as One Nation, Garage Nation, Telepathy, Hysteria, United dance, Dreamscape, Decade of dance, Back 2 89, Dance 93, Trinity, Liberty, La Cosa Nostra to name a few also holding a monthly residency in Berne Switzerland and Crash in Kavos.
